Its decided that the Meltan he has acquired is in need of more field study. Especially since Walsh has mentioned they will want to be make their way toward the tree soon enough and study in the labs show that the creature has potential. The question is just how far could it go. The small blob of metal seems to rub it's stomach as if asking for food. Pryde just looks unimpressed, "Preform well and you might get a decent meal," he tells it before the walks through the safari to add more to his collection.

There seems to be a pout from the steel type, but after an intimidating glare from Pryde it decides to listen. Waiting until they found the bell pokemon. Meltan looks back and pryde gives a whistle before calling for a THUNDER WAVE. Paralyzed and down with a THUNDERBOLT Pryde calls for them to move on. [Break][break]

Though the meltan does go close to the bell to poke at it. Pondering if the metal from it were tasty.

As if seeing the hunger in their eyes an Oshawatt comes to the scene to try and fight off the stranger metal poekmon. THe previous one fleeing for it's life. It attempts to strike with a RAZOR SHELL to which Meltan uses ACID ARMOR to help defense against it. As the shall comes at him Pryde gives a familiar whistle before calling for a THUNDERBOLT. [break][break]

Eventually they fall and become paralyzed this time though Pryde uses a safariball to capture the oshawott, figuring it could be useful for later.

One down, and just a few more to go on his list as Pryde came here with a list of pokemon he wanted to add to his collection to allow himself a bit of verity. As while he enjoyed his Ghost pokemon most others would work well to have. With the oshawott in hand and a bit of walking again they come across the famed fire type of the Johto region. [break][break]

"Paralyze it," he orders as he gives a whistle as he is still trying to get them to learn it. As she tries to attack with a LAVA PLUME MELTAN is able to get up a PROTECT just in time in panic. It looks to it's trainer in panic as if asking for something else to fight it but they seen no pity in the man's red eyes. Okay so toughen up is the lesson here. So this time the Meltan does as ordered and uses THUNDER WAVE to paralyze it. [break][break]

Meltan looks back to see a look of approval and decides it really like the feeling. As it continues it battle, and eventually despite the bruises it comes out on top and Pryde tosses a ball at it. "Passible, but I'm sure you can do better," he comments and they look a bit dejected at that, a feeling of wanting to get better praise swelling within.

A small smile appears on the man's face as yet another capture went through. The meltan seemingly happy to please it's master especially as it was handed a piece of metal to eat! The meltan takes it with delight before nomming on the piece before a hoot hoot noise could be heard. [Break][break]

A whistle is heard and wanting to please it's master a THUNDERBOLT it used to strike the unsuspecting owl in the tree. As it seemed to just try for peacefully resting it didn't expect the attack and faints on impact with the ground before pryde attempts to capture it.

With the new bird in hand, the meltan is beginning to look worn down. It was not used to being put through so much work so quickly. Though with the way the scientist keeps going its clear to them that they weren't done just yet. Hopefully this wouldn't last much longer. The last on the list being a Growlith who was currently drinking water from the lake within the Safari. [break][break]

A tiny problem seeing the type advantage but gears are turning inside Pryde's head as he gets down to tell the meltan the plan before it gives a little nod. Deciding to trust in their master' work, using a HEADBUTT to bash the dog into the lake. And before it could recover the steel type uses THUNDERBOLT. [break][break]

And seeing as it was in the water well it wasn't long before it fainted and Pryde could go with capturing the pup with his last Safari ball.
